CANDIDATE’S ROLE: 
  • Become an expert on all of our marine product lines and help clients purchase the correct luxury unit for their needs.
  • Respond to and follow up with all phone calls, Internet and walk-in leads.
  • Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used inventory.
  • Liaise with the parts and service departments to provide an exceptional client experience from start to finish.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by setting strategies, planning, soliciting and negotiating with clients.
  • Complete all sales paperwork with a high attention to detail.
  • Participate in trade shows, company events, and help organize displays.
  • Remain up to date with all manufacturer updates, product launches and sales training.
  • Develop and increase sales and suggest new marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.

Marine Mechanic - Lake Country
 
Responsible for carrying out the daily duties of a Marine Mechanic, including but not limited to the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of marine gasoline engines, transmissions, drive train and related electrical equipment, as well as seasonal summerize and winterize services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform related duties assigned or as the situation dictates.
  • Perform all seasonal preventative maintenance (i.e. oil changes, replace belts and hoses, winterize engines, etc.).
  • Evaluate and repair faulty mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot 12/24 Volt DC systems and generators.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of product and industry trends and methods.
  • Maintain accurate records, both paper and electronic, related to billing, work orders and hours worked.
  • Continually strive to meet Seca Surf and Marine’s standard of customer service.
  • Maintain awareness of and continually practice safe work habits.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness on projects both during and after job completion.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize technical service manuals and use them to facilitate repair and maintenance
  • Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb and work safely around water on a ladder or in confined spaces
  • Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Capacity to work as a member of a team or by oneself to achieve desired results
  • Be able to safely operate a variety of stationary or portable hand and power tools
  • Understand basic AC/DC circuitry

Boat Detailer Job Description 
 
The Marine Boat Detailer specializes in the cleaning and aesthetic maintenance of boats. In boat detailer jobs, you have various duties, including cleaning the boat in detail, applying wax, and working to make the boat look like new. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Washing, waxing and polishing gel coat and interior
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning teak and compounding
  • Interior and engine cleaning as needed
  • Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums and other equipment to meet service expectations
  • Inspect products overall condition so it will be acceptable to the customer
  • To carry out those duties and responsibilities assigned by the service manager
  • Available to work overtime when required
Technical and Physical Requirements
  • Previous marina experience preferred
  • Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Basic boat handling skills a plus
